From Nankhatai cookies to the Bun Maska, we are desperate to get down one day for some of these delights. Not content with being just a restaurant, Dishoom also has a bakery in-house too, unfortunately only in the day time. No trip to Dishoom is complete without a glass of this warming spicy goodness. We were stuffed to the brim and let ourselves down by opting out of dessert, there is always room for Chai though. Another must-have is Bhel, puffed rice, Bombay Mix and nylon sev tossed with fresh pomegranate, tomato, onion, lime, tamarind, mint £3.90. Of course we had the Calamari £5.20, the most wonderful calamari I have ever tasted in that sweet genius coating. So simple yet so tasty.įarzana’s Masala Prawns £10.50 prawns were incredible too, juicy and smoky.

£7.90 was pure joy, a steaming bowl of warming comfort food. The Chole-Chewal, spiced chickpeas in home-style sauce with fragrant steamed rice.

A super soft airy bun with pulled lamb with cute little chip crisps on the side., it tasted amazing. Perhaps a playful nod to London’s burger craze. Served with Dishoom Slaw, sali crisp-chips, and fried green chillies £12.50. Their Lamb Raan Bun, Juicy, slow-cooked pulled lamb, piled up in a soft sourdough bun. I don’t really like lamb and would never order it, unless in Dishoom. Not sure who this Chole Chewal is but she sure is tasty!
